Petrol Prasanna

Petrol Prasanna is a Kannada Actor in the Indian Film Industry. He is seen in the roles of supporting actor as well as in comic roles. His birthday is on 8th of March. He is born and brought up in Bengaluru, India. He studied at the SJ Polytechnic Institute.

He has done more than 70 movies and currently resides in Bengaluru. Prasanna started his career with the movie Shishya(2006) directed by Victory Vasu. After which he was seen in movies like Jackie, Ragini IPS, Jaggi and Kalpana 2.

He was also seen in a minor role in the movie Vishnu Sena (2005). In 2008, he did movies namely Chana and Bombat. In 2009, he was seen in the movies Seena, Jaaji Mallige, Thabbali, and Ambari. In Ambari, he played the role of Kani.

In 2010, he did movies namely Yaksha, Jackie (seen in the role of Prasanna and Jooli), Gubbi (seen in the role of Rowdy Naidu), Jothegara, Meshtru (as Sidhu) and Punda. In 2011, the movies he did were, Obavva, Lokave Helida Mathieu, Vinayaka Geleyara Balaga, and 5 Idiots as Spanner.

In 2012, he was seen in Golmaal, Dandupalya, Anna Bond and Aarakshaka. In the year 2013, Dyavre, Dhanu (as Mori Ranga), Silk, Ale (as Sathya), Jatayu and Gajendra were some of his famous films. He did the movies Sorry Kane, Namo Bhootnathma, Jaggi, Rose, 24 Carat and Ragini IPS.

Ragini IPS turned out to be one of his best action films starring Ragini Dwivedi, Upendra Rao, and Avinash and were directed by Anand P Raju. In 2015, he was seen in the movies - Mr. Premi, Namak Haram, Ganapa, Murari and Mr. Airavathain, which he worked with the famous villain of the Hindi Film Industry Mr. Prakash Raj. In 2016, he did the movie Kalpana 2, a Kannada thriller action starring Upendra Rao, Priyamani, and Avantika Shetty and was directed by R Anantha Raju.

In 2017, he did the films Pokari Raja, Moda Modala Mathu Chanda, Vardhana, Dandupalya 2, Bharjari and Nishabda 2. Dandupalya 2 is one of his famous Kannada crime film starring Pooja Gandhi, Makarand Deshpande, and Ravi Kale.

It is directed by Srinivasa Raju. Pokari Raja is a romantic film starring Shobha, Raja, and Ramya which was directed by K Shankar. Prasanna believes that movies should be fun or a certain message should reach the audience through it.

He has completed 70 films this decade. He has also directed the film Duniya. He believes if all goes well, he might get a chance in Tamil films. His latest movie is Nishabda 2 starring Roopesh Shetty, Avinash, and Aradhya Shetty and is directed by Devraj Kumar.

It is an action thriller. He is recently seen playing in the team called Karnataka Bulldozers in the CCL 2017 T1 Blast taking place at the Hyderabad Uppal Stadium. He has also dubbed the Kannada film Girigitle.
