Nikhil Kumar was born on July 15th, 1941, in Vaishali, Bihar, India. He is a Civil Servant, Administrator, Statesmen, Parliamentarian and Governor. He was born to Satyendra Narayan Sinha and Kishori Sinha. His father served as the Chief Minister of Bihar, expert leader of the Indian National Congress, a seven-term MP (Member of Parliament) and was from the Aurangabad constituency. His mother was the Member of Parliament for Vaishali. Dr. Anugrah Narayan Sinha, Bihar’s first Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister is Nikhil’s grandfather. N.K. Singh, Rajya Sabha MP, is his brother-in-law. He was India’s Revenue Secretary and has also served as Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister. Nikhil got married to Shyama Singh, Aurangabad Representative in Lok Sabha. Altogether, Nikhil comes from a political background.
Nikhil Kumar studied in St. Xavier’s High School in Patna. He graduated with a M.A. degree in Modern History from Allahabad University. In 1963, he got into civil services. He became an IPS (Indian Police Service) officer, and was allocated to Delhi. Nikhil Kumar has held many important positions. He served as the Additional Director General of BSF (Border Security Force) from 1989 to 1991 and from 1992 to 1994. From January, 1995 to April, 1997, he was the Commissioner of Police in Delhi. Nikhil was the Director-General of ITBP (Indo Tibetan Border Police). From April 3rd, 1997, to December 3rd, 1999, he was the Internal Security (Special Home Secretary) of Government of India. Nikhil was the Director-General of National Security Guards from June 30th, 1999, to July 31st, 1901. Nikhil Kumar was the Member of National Security Advisory Board of Government of India from 2001 to 2003. He was elected from 2004 to 2009 to the 14th Lok Sabha.
On 15th of October, 2009, Nikhil became the Governor of Nagaland and took the secrecy and oath as a Governor on the same day. He is also a member of the Committee of Governors. It was established by the Indian President to understand and suggest measures for enhancing profitability, competitiveness, productivity and sustainability of the agricultural segment of India. In Bhubaneshwar, at the national cultural festival Baisakhi Utsav, Nikhil was awarded the respected Neelachakra Samman held at Jayadev Bhawan.
Nikhil Kumar was appointed as the Governor of Kerala by Pranab Mukherjee, the Indian President on March 9th, 2013. Within a short period, Nikhil was considered as “People’s Governor” because of his illustrious tenure. On 4th March 2014, he resigned as Governor Kerala to race for Lok Sabha Elections in Bihar from Aurangabad.
Krishna Mahesh is an Indian Actor who works in the Kannada Film Industry. He caught the attention of the public’s eye mainly because of the popularity of his elder brother, Kannada Superstar Ganesh. Mahesh was born in Adakamaranahalli, Nelamangala which is situated in the city of Bangalore. From his paternal side, due to the religion of his father, Mahesh belongs to the Gorkha clan who are known to have a Nepalese descent. Whereas, his mother, Sulochana, is from Karnataka and belongs to Bellary’s Vokkaliga family. As Mahesh was born and brought up in Bangalore, he identified himself as a Kannada person. He has elder brother Ganesh and a younger brother Umesh. Ganesh has already seen roaring success in the Kannada Film Industry with his blockbuster 2006 film Mungaru Male.
Following Mungaru Male, Ganesh has had a golden period and is fondly called Golden Star Ganesh. For Mahesh, it was difficult to live up to the benchmark set by his brother, but he ventured into the industry with his debut film Namak Haraam which released in 2015. Krishna Mahesh’s original name is Mahesh. In the year 2014, he changed his name to Krishna Mahesh. There were many allegations which suggested that the change of name was inspired from Ajai Rao who also prefixed his name with Krishna. However, later sources revealed that the change of name was due to the recommendation of a numerologist to bring luck to Mahesh’s life. Even after having a superstar brother, Mahesh struggled to make a place for himself in the industry.
His struggle started in 2008, and he finally succeeded with his Kannada flick Namak Haraam. Mahesh made his debut with Namak Haraam which released on 11th of September in the year 2015. With the help of Director R. Nagaraj Peenya and co-star RJ Rashmi Ramakrishna aka Rapid Rashmi, he was able to give a successful debut film. The plot of the big screen drama revolves around love, hate, and betrayal. After Namak Haraam, Mahesh also signed a movie named Dubari. As the title suggests, the film is about a young rich guy who lives a luxurious life. The story and screenplay are penned by Lohith Raj. He is also the Director and Producer of the flick and has cast Moggina Manassu fame Manasi with Mahesh in the film. Krishna Mahesh as also signed a movie called Dandam – The Punishment.
