SV Srikanth was a veteran cinematographer and producer based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He predominantly worked in the Sandalwood film industry, particularly in Kannada films. He was born in Maddur, Karnataka. After completing his graduation, he started working as a photographer in Mysore and a camera operator in Sandalwood and the Bollywood film industry. Throughout his career, he worked in more than seventy Kannada films.
He made his debut in the film industry in 1963 with a film called Jeevana Taranga, which was directed by Bangararaju and starring Leelavathi, Rajkumar, K.S. Ashwath, Rama Devi, T.N.
