Shaneel Gautham

Shanil Guru was born in Bantwal, Karnataka, India. He completed his schooling at KREC English Medium School, Surathkal, Karnataka, and pursued his Batchelor's in Commerce at Mangalore  University, Karnataka, India.He is a profound actor and assistant director. His side hobby is photography. 

He joined as an assistant director at Mango Pickel Entertainment (Mangalore, Karnataka) in 2015. He appeared as an actor in 2016 in Rambarooti. He played the role of Raghu in the film 'Sarkari Hiriya Praathamika Shaale, Kaasaragodu, Koduge: Raamanna Rai.'

In 2022 he played a role as a Bulla in the famous Kannada film 'Kantara' starring actor and filmmaker Rishab Shetty. He worked in numerous Tulu films.

Shanil also worked as a screenplay writer in the Kannada drama film 'Harikathe Alla Girikathe' in 2022. He opened a seafood restaurant named Chandu's Illadha Vanas in Kapikad, Mangaluru, Karnataka. 

In 2022, he worked in Prayashaha, directed by Ranjith Rao. In 2024, he was seen in Bisi-Bisi Ice-Cream, directed by Arvind Sastry. The same year, he was seen in the series “Ekam” with Prakash Raj and Kishore. In 2025, Shaneel played the role in the film Su from So, directed by JP Thuminad. He shared the screen with Prakash Thuminad and Mime Ramdas.
