Uday Chopra was born with a silver spoon into the famous Chopra family of the Bollywood industry. Besides being an actor he is also an assistant director, producer and screenwriter. He was born to the Late Yash Chopra, a veteran fim director and Mrs. Pamela Chopra on January 5, 1973.

Many are unaware that his mother, apart from being a playback singer in the industry, has written and directed several films as well. His elder brother is the famous Bollywood director Aditya Chopra, married to the talented actress Rani Mukerji.

Grapevine has it that he was in an on and off relationship with the Rockstar fame, Nargis Fakri. Reports suggested that the duo were soon supposed to get hitched.
