Hansal Mehta Comes To The ‘rescue’ Of ‘Nadaaniyan’ Cast

‘Nadaaniyan’ crew gets an unlikely defense from Hansal Mehta.

The filmmaker best known for ‘Scam 1992’ has come to the ‘rescue’ of the lead actors, as he said that it would be unfair to assume that someone would excel in acting solely because of lineage.

Mehta also slammed the stars’ advisors, commenting that they don’t allow the star kids to try something, and experiment out of their comfort zone. ‘Nadaaniyan’ is a romantic comedy, which was backed by Dharma Productions’ OTT wing, Dharmatic Entertainment. The direct-to-OTT movie is currently streaming on Netflix.

The movie was subject to heavy criticism from all corners for its underwhelming screenplay, as well as the unimpressive acting from the lead pair of Ibrahim and Khushi. Things have turned out to be so bad that Ibrahim himself lashed out at one of the critics over the comments on his physical appearance.
