Achal Kapoor or Boney Kapoor is a very famous Indian film producer born on November 11 1955 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Boney Kapoor is the eldest son of Surinder Kapoor, who was also a famous film producer. His father was the cousin of
Prithviraj Kapoor, who was the veteran actor and director. He is the eldest brother of the actors
Sanjay Kapoor and
Anil Kapoor. Boney Kapoor was married to
Mona Shourie Kapoor in 1983. Both of them spilt after their 13 years of marriage in 1996. They had two children,
Arjun Kapoor, and Anshula Kapoor. In 1996, Boney Kapoor married to famous Indian actress Sridevi. Boney made his debut in the film industry as a producer with the film Hum Paanch in 1980. Since then Boney gave many blockbuster movies in the Bollywood industry. Boney’s film Mr. India was his most acclaimed film which proved to be a milestone in his career. “Mogambo khush hua” became the most famous dialogue and Mogambo became the most famous villains in the era of Bollywood.

Boney Kapoor is also the recipient of many prestigious awards including Producer of the Millennium Honour – TSR-TV9 Film Awards in the year 2013 and Lifetime Achievement Award in Cairo International Film Festival in the year 2009. He was also honoured with the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film in the year 2000 for Pukar. In his 26 years of career Boney did 27 films which are an achievement in itself including some blockbusters. Currently, he is working on No Entry Mein Entry and Mr. India 2 which is expected to come to the floor by the starting of 2017.
