Lalit Parimoo is an actor by profession and has the experience of working in different environment like theatre, radio and television. He was born on 28th of September, 1964 in Kashmir, India. He was a brilliant student and completed his graduation from Delhi University in Political Science in the year 1985. He can speak and write Hindi, English and Kashmiri and has a fair understanding of Urdu Language. His Sun Sign is Libra.
After graduation, he started his carrier as an actor. He is in this profession for the last 20 years and appeared on forty stage plays, three hundred radio plays and fifty six Television Serials and Films. To fulfil is desire Lalit Parimoo moved from Kashmir to Delhi in 1992. After moving to the capital, he tried in different theatre productions, radio and TV but unable to find a suitable job for him. Then he changed the address and shifted to Mumbai.
As an actor Lalit appeared in different Hindi serials and Films. Some of his hit serials include Mulk, Misaal, Tejaswini, Gaatha, Saaya, Laksh, Kora Kaagaz, Kangan and Intequam. Among all his performance in Hindi Television, he is best known for the performances in Shaktimaan. He played the character of Dr. Jackal in this show. The show was broadcasted in Doordarshan and ran successfully from 14 September 1997 to 27 March 2005. He also started a new project called Abhinaya Yog which is the combination of Acting (Abhinaya) and yoga. This project was designed for self-development of individual with the help of basic acting skills and yogic techniques. He started his project Abhinaya Yog in his L P Academy. This system is a new and fresh approach and gives the full support to individual who started learning with him.
He also formed NATSAMAJ, a socio-cultural organization. This organization performs socially relevant plays around the country to educate people and bring social consciousness among them.
