Tara's voice roles include Teen Titans Go!, The Fairly OddParents, The New Batman Adventures, The Fairly OddParents, Rugrats, The Powerpuff Girls, Xiaolin Showdown, Teen Titans, Ben 10, Wow!, Chowder. And, she also voiced for famous shows like “Wow! Unikitty!, DC Super Hero Girls, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, and Wubbzy!.”
Strong featured in “Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat X, Blue Dragon, Jak and Daxter, Final Fantasy X, X-2, and Batman: Arkham Asylum.”
Syd and Lucy Charendoff have a daughter named Tara Lyn Charendoff. She was born and raised in Toronto. Strong is descended from a Jewish family. Marla, her older sister, is her only sibling. Strong began acting at four. She volunteered to perform as a soloist in a school production. She was a member of the Yiddish Theater. Strong learned her lines phonetically because she didn't speak Yiddish. She also appeared in the Toronto Jewish Theater. Tara featured in “A Night of Stars.” She sang “Lay Down Your Arms” in English and Hebrew.
Strong debuted professionally as Gracie in Limelight Theater's performance of “The Music Man” when she was 13 years old. She appeared in the action series “T. And T.” as a guest star. Her first prominent animation role was in Hello Kitty's “Furry Tale Theater.” Strong featured in the CBC Television sitcom “Mosquito Lake,” which had a brief run. Before shifting to Los Angeles in January 1994, she joined classes at “The Second City” in Toronto. Later, she continued acting in animated and live-action shows and films.
Tara has also voiced several video games, including “Elisa and Ursula in Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops; Paz Ortega Andrade in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain; Rikku in Final Fantasy X, its sequel Final Fantasy X-2, and Kingdom Hearts II; and Krista Sparks in Twisted Metal: Headhunters.”
Tara earned an “Interactive Achievement Award” in 2004 for her role in “Final Fantasy X-2.” She also hosted the 1999 Kids' “Choice Awards.” She was a guest panelist at Comic-Con International, BotCon, Jacon, and Anime Overdose, among other fan conventions.” In the July/August 2004 issue of “Working Mother magazine,” Tara was featured on the front cover. She has received five Annie Award nominations.
In 2013,she earned the prestigious “Shorty Award” for “Best Actress.” Tara received a nomination for a BTVA Voice Acting Award for Voice Actress of the Year in 2013. In 2011 and 2012, she was acknowledged by the website “Behind the Voice Actors.”
Strong appeared as Tiggy Sullivan in “Pretty Hard Cases.” She played a drug trafficking gang leader. In the live-action “Marvel Cinematic Universe” series “Lok,” she portrayed Miss Minutes.
