Leslie Valdes is an author and a voice actor. His book works include Dora Goes to school, Meet Diego!, Dora's Private Adventure, At the Carnival, Happy Mothers Day, Mami!, Dora's Christmas Parade, Dora and Diego's Treasure Hunt l, Dora and Diego's Adventures!, A World of Colors, etc. He has voiced "Señor Toucan" in Dora the Explorer, "Señor Chugga Chugga," "Los Duendes," "Dragón" and "Señor Toucan" in Dora and Friends: Into the City.
Leslie Valdes served as a staff writer from the inception of Dora the Explorer and later co-developed and served as the head writer and producer for Disney Junior's hit preschool series Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Along with Walsh Valdes, both of them creators and executive producers, he had also made an animated preschool series called "Santiago of the Seas." Infused with the Spanish language and Latino Caribbean culture curriculum, the action-adventure series follows an 8 years old Santiago, a brave and kind-hearted pirate. This series was much loved by kids and anybody who can speak or understand the Spanish language.
