Ellen Tyne Daly, who was born on February 11, 1946, is a popular American actress. Popularly, she is also known as a screen actress. This role of hers was tremendously appreciated, and she was accolade well for this. This got her the Emmy Award four times in the form of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. She was also in Gypsy in 1989 and was awarded the Tony Award for Best Actress in a musical role. Her television series Christy was extremely good, where she played the role of Alice and won an Emmy Award for it. Her younger brother is the actor Tim Daly. She was the holder of Equity Card at a tender age of 15. She also starred in her Brother Tim’s series called Wings. Here she portrayed the role of dating actor, Steven Weber. She appeared in the film, The Enforcer in 1976 directed by Dirty Harry. Her performance wasn’t much appreciated, but the concept of the film got popularised.
