Teresa Giudice

Teresa Giudice is a reality Television Actress. She was born on 18th November 1972. She was born in New Jersey, where she was brought up to Italian parents. Her name before marriage was Teresa Gorga and has a younger brother Joe Gorga;who were raised in Catholic Faith. She graduated from Berkeley College in Fashion Marketing. Teresa started her career as an associate buyer at Macy’s then joined ‘The Real Housewives’ series as a cast member from season 1(2006) and later got cast in its fourth installment ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ (2009) which is still to aired.

Simultaneously she co-authored three recipe successful cookbooks, which had recipes given by her mother, the books are – ‘Skinny Italian’ in 2010, ‘Fabulicious’ 2011 and ‘Fabulicious- Fast and Fit’ in 2012. All the three books were New York Times Best Sellers. With these works she also spawned a line of Bellini cocktails named ‘Fabellini’. In partnership with Jerel Sabella, she opened a hair care line named after her daughter, ‘Milania’.

She even raised fund of $70,000 for her selected charity ‘The NephCure Foundation’ by joining the cast of ‘The Celebrity Apprentice 5’ in 2012. She was fired in 12th Episode after coming fifth in it. She also a committee member for ‘Project Lady Bug’ a charity founded by her co-star from RHONJ, Dina Monza. She got married to Joe Giudice in 1999, who worked as a construction builder and had a restaurant in New Jersey. They have four daughters namely Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Adriana. Giudices has also stuck in many convictions, in 2009 they filed for bankruptcy but was later called off in 2010.

In 2013, the couple was charged for committing Mail Fraud, Bank Fraud,Wire Fraud, making false statement on Loan application and false bankruptcy too in 39-count indictment. The indictment also charged Joe for tax evasion for years 2004 through 2008, during which he allegedly earned $1million. In a couple of months the couple pleaded not guilty in federal court to financial charges. In 2014, the couple was charged again for the Mail Fraud, Wire Fraud, Bank Fraud which over a 10-year period allegedly earned them net over $5 million.

For the same Teresa was sentenced jailed for 15 months in federal prison, and Joe is sentenced for 41 months, tailed with a potential deportation to Italy plus $414,000 fine in restitution. The two were allowed to serve the sentence separately so, Teresa served first from January 2015 to February 2016, she was given a two month early release yet released on December 2015. In 2015 Bravo cable network premiered a show ‘Teresa Checks In’ to show the life of the Giudice family and aftermath of her sentence to prison.
