Michelle Fairley

Michelle Fairley, an actress by profession from Northern Ireland, well known for her outstanding and amazing role as Catelyn Stark, in the fantasy drama series of HBO, Game of Thrones. She also appeared in other tv series like USA network series, Suits as Dr. Ava Hessington, and played a role of terrorist, Margot Al-harazi, a main antagonist in series, 24: Live Another Day. Fairley, born 11 July, 1963, in Coleraine, Northern Ireland, to publicans Brain and nurse Theresa Fairley. She attended a Roman Catholic Grammar School.

In her teens, she joined the Ulter Youth Theatre. Post her graduation, she moved to Belfast to whet her skills with the repertory company Fringe Benefits. She acted in number of British drama, including The Bill, Holby City and Casualty. She also grabbed the role of Mrs. Granger in the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows films, from Heather Bleasdale. In spite of playing many mother roles, she is single and doesn’t have any children of her own. She also said if she is repeatedly asked about it just because she is a woman. It has been a disappointment to the fans that such beautiful face doesn’t have a love life but maybe she just enjoys her own company and doesn’t want to ruin it by having a husband. While on the other hand, some also predicted her to be a lesbian from her choice of staying single.
