Caroline Quentin is an English TV actress who worked in English series. In Reigate, Surrey, England, Quentin was born on 11 July 1960. She came to light it by her work in Men Behaving Badly in 1992, Jonathan Creek in 1997, and Blue Murder in 2003 TV series. In Men Behaving Badly, she has appeared in all the 42 episodes which was telecasted between 1992 and 1998 later she was seen as Maddie Magellan in Jonathan Creek in which, she solved murder mysteries between 1997 to 2000.

Carolyn traveled from North India to South India for which she is also having a documentary named Caroline Quentin: A passage through India, which was also aired on ITV in the UK. She also released her first single for the cover of the Exciters hit Tell Him in July 1996 with her co-star Leslie Ash and maintained the number 25 in the UK singles chart. Quentine worked in more than 30 movies and TV series and played one of the lead roles in almost all the movies.

Caroline Quentin is widely known for her profession as an English actress and TV Presenter for her roles in TV shows like ‘Jonathan Creek,’ ‘Men Behaving Badly,’ ‘Life Begins,’ and ‘Blue Murder.’ She gained attention and fame while portraying the role of Dorothy in ‘Men Behaving Badly’ from the year 1992 to 1998.

Caroline was born in Reigate, Surrey in the year 1960 on July 11. Her early education includes studying at Independent Arts Educational School in Hertfordshire, a home country in Southern England. In the year 1990, she tied the knot with comedian, ‘Paul Merton’ but got separated in 1988. On the sets of ‘Men Behaving Badly,’ she met ‘Sam Farmer’ with whom she had two children, namely Emily Rose and William. She married Farmer in the year 2006. They live in a beautiful house called Morebath Manor in Devon.

Apart from appearing in different TV shows like ‘Men Behaving Badly,’ ‘Jonathan Creek,’ ‘Life Begins,’ and ‘Blue Murder,’ she has also starred in various films like ‘Hot Money,’ ‘Blood Strangers,’ ‘Von Trapped,’ ‘Footprints in the Snow,’ and others. She also appeared in a comedy sitcom series called ‘The Life of Riley’ and went on to act in another show of the same genre called ‘The Masterson Inheritance’. In 2010, she made an appearance in revamped food range ads of Marks & Spencer’s. Her travel ventures across India were recorded into what came to be known as ‘Caroline Quentin: A Passage through India,’ And her travel diaries across Cornwall were recorded under the title ‘Cornwall with Caroline Quentin.’ Earlier in life during around 1996, she entered the music field by releasing her single called ‘Quentin and Ash,’ which was a cover of the ‘Exciter’ hit ‘Tell Him,’  along with her ‘Men Behaving Badly’ co-star Leslie Ash.

In 2017, she co-presented ‘The World’s Most Extraordinary Homes,’ a program aired on BBC-Two along with ‘Piers Taylor.’ This 12-episodeseries streamed on the popular OTT platform Netflix in 2017. In 2004, she was honoured with the ‘The Best Comedy Actress’ 2004 for her commendable performance in ‘Von Trapped’. Recently, she was also praised for her role of Elizabeth Christmas in a British comedy movie called ‘Father Christmas is Back,’ which was released on Netflix on 7th November 2021.
