James Synder was born as James Randall Snyder on the 7th of February 1981 in Los Angeles. He gained his popularity from TV shows, stage performances, and theater. James Snyder was born and brought up in Rancho Murieta which is a small town found outside Sacremento in California. He then went to Christian Brothers High School found Sacramento in California.

James graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts from the University USC School of Dramatic Arts. At his college, he was not only a serious student or a soccer club fan but also an active member of Socal Vocal a musical group. During his first year at college, he played the role of Stephen in Godspell and by his final year he was already prepared to enter the acting world. James Snyder then went on to attend an acting course at the University of South California whereby he improved his musical knowledge. But in the meantime, he continued to be a member of Socal VoCals and played the guitar and sang at the same time.

During his college days, he also performed with the Capella group on stage play called ‘’Patrick Gorman’s star wars trilogy in 30 minutes’’. James Snyder was very lucky in his career. After finishing college, he got into the show, Sneaux which is a French poodle.. He met Andy Fickman, and was cast for the character of Malcolm Fest in the show called She’s the man. James Snyder then flew to Los Angeles and collaborated with Laura Bell Bundy for the show called Rock of Ages. At that particular point, his career grew more and more. He was selected to work with Broadway production and did a show called Cry Baby.

James Synder is also a singer. His first recording was for the album ‘bare a pop opera’’. He then started his record named Lionsgate. After some months James Snyder released his rock album called LA Curse. After the show Cry Baby, James Snyder, came back to Los Angeles and resumed his work for TV and films. But having already created a name and identity on stage performances, James Synder got a contract for Encores whereby he acted for a show called Fanny at New York. James Synder also played in movies. His first film was Pretty Persuasion in 2005 whereby his role was David.

He also worked in The Baker’s Dozen, the Gingerbread Man, Shuttle, An American in China, Anderson’s Cross and much more. The latest one was in 2013 called Meth Heads. Despite being a busy actor and musician, James Snyder loves spending time with his wife Jacqueline and two children.

He has been nominated for the same TV show at New Zealand Film and TV Awards and New Zealand Screen Awards.
