Charlie Eales is an English actor who came into the limelight after his appearance in the horror thriller “Possum” (2018), directed by Matthew Holness Born on 1st January 1975 in Whitstable, Kent, Engl >> Read More... . He played the supporting role of Michael in the movie, which focuses on a child puppeteer who is unable to express his thoughts in either words or emotions and therefore devises a horrific puppet to do so. The movie won awards for the best actor, supporting actor and cinematography at the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival in 2018. Eales was born and raised in Romford, England, where he completed his schooling before joining the sixth form at St. Martin’s College in Brentwood, England.
He is currently pursuing a degree in geographical science from the college and will graduate in 2021. His fondness for acting developed when he joined theatre in his school. He acted in several stage plays for various theatres, including “Oliver”, “The Greater Good”, “Wizard of Oz” and “Godspell”. He made his debut as Nick in the short film “Arachnid” (2014), directed by Diego F. Caicedo-Galindo. He was later seen in 2016 impersonating a bully in Scott Rodrigues’s “Greener” (2016). Charlie’s talents are, however, not restricted to acting only. He has also achieved distinctions in ballet and tap dancing.
