Cheryl Fernandez Versini or Cheryl Ann Fernandez- Versini is a renowned English dancer, singer, and model, entrepreneur, and TV personality. She was born as Cheryl Ann Tweedy on June 30, 1983, in Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK. She earned popularity as a member of the English-Irish pop girl group called Girls Aloud. The group was established during the ITV’s 2002 talent show, Popstars: The Rivals. Girls Aloud had 20 consecutive Top 20 singles in the UK and a total of 6 platinum albums. They also earned five nominations at the Brit Awards from the year 2005 to 2010.

The girl group split up in 2013. Cheryl started her solo career in the year 2009. Her first solo album entitled “3 Words” was released in October 2009. It was a commercial success and the album’s debut single, Fight for This Love, took the number 1 spot on the UK charts and became the best single in 2009. Her second studio album, Messy Little Raindrops, was released in 2010. The single, Promise This, was debuted at number 1. The press also recognized Cheryl as a fashion icon. She was featured on the covers of British Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Elle. She also fronted L’Oreal’. In 2008, Cheryl became a judge in the UK TV series, The X Factor, and mentored Joe McElderry and Alexandra Burke.
