Thomas Marcus George

Thomas Marcus George, also known as Tom Thudiyanplackal, is best recognized as a director and producer. He has been also contributing as a creative director in advertising and visual media. With his extraordinary creativity and ideas, he strengthens his group aiming to get remarkable output. Thomas is a B.S. in Physics. Also, he acquired two diplomas in film and multimedia respectively. He was an intelligent student and always focused on learning new things through the internet, books, experiments, and often through collaboration with scholars.

Two of his notable strengths are his good grasp of the English language and his strong knowledge of visual aesthetics. These two forces made him able to run various successful advertisement campaigns with visually captivating designs. His creations have always been encompassing science fiction, metaphysics, history, current affairs, compassion, and economics. Along with filmography, Thomas has also shown his interest in business and helped to launch Ogilvy Interactive, the digital division of Ogilvy India. Additionally, he was in the role of managing the start-up division of Reliance Industries.

Coming to Bollywood, Thomas embarked on his journey in 2006 joining Vinod Chopra Films (VCF). He worked on reframing the production house and it led their one movie to get an entry in the Oscar. Interestingly, Thomas shows a passion for children's welfare. As a result, Thomas collaborated with the Global Concepts International School, which is a Montessori community for children from 6 months to 5 years of age.
