Joe Neurauter

Joe Neurauter is a prominent film producer, who was born in Innsbruck, Austria. He attended University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts under Peter Stark Producing Program, where he had an MFA and in University of Vienna, Austria, where he took an MA in Media Economics. He is the principal and co-founder of Occupant Entertainment Group, an LA-based production company with branches in London, Germany, and the UK. He earned popularity for his work in the 2008 American coming-of-age drama film, The Wackness.

This film received the 2008 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award for Dramatic Film. Joe is also the Executive Producer of the television series, Behind the Mask, which was nominated at the Emmy Awards. He co-produced the American comedy-drama film, Better Living through Chemistry in 2013. Joe’s films were usually selected to have premieres and have won several major awards in Toronto, Telluride, SWSX, etc.
