Voelker Bertelmann is a German Music Composer and Musician. He was born in the year 1966. He was born in Kreuztal, a small village in Germany. He had five siblings. At the age of nine, Voelker gained interest in Piano. He started learning Classical Piano and took lessons for almost ten years. He formed a band at the age of fourteen. He got a chance to compose music and sing for Television shows and other bands. He moved to Cologne for higher studies. But later, Voelker gave up on studies to concentrate on Music.
Voelker had his official debut in 2004 with the album “Substantial.” He later made more albums like “The Prepared Piano” (2005), “Ferndorf” (2008), “Small Pieces” (2009), “ What If Click to look into! >> Read More... ” (2017), and many more. He started composing music for feature films with the film “Wortbot” (2007). Voelker won the Best Music Award by Havana Music Festival for his movie “Praia do Futuro” in the year 2014. He bagged the Best Original Score Award by 7th Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards in the year 2017 for the film “Lion” (2016).
