Christopher Cano is a renowned pianist, recitalist and orchestra soloist working mainly for Hollywood films. Christopher is a native Southern Arizona who holds a Bachelors as well as Masters degree in Piano Performance from the prestigious University of Arizona. His teachers included the well-known late Ozan Marsh, Nicholas Zumbro, Paula Fan, to name a few. Cano has performed with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra, the University of Arizona Symphony Orchestra, etc.
Cano has won numerous awards for his performances including the Tucson Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Competition, Emilio Osta Scholarship Competition, and also the Theodore Presser Scholarship. Working as a collaborative artist, he played with the late Fedora Barbieri, Martin Katz, and many others. As a pianist, he got work with some of the great artist Marilyn Horne, Rita Shane, and Diana Saverio. Currently, Christopher is residing in
, the United States with his wife, where he owns a private studio and also serves as the vocal faculty coach of the Manhattan School of Music.
