Born on 25th December 1971, Christian Henson is a British composer known for making tv and film soundtracks. He started as a child actor in the 1980 film, ‘Never Never Land’. He worked in a bakery with a home studio in his youth and spent his time in the studio, where he started developing his passion for composing. Henson married Dot Allison, a Scottish singer, and songwriter.
In 1990, he composed 'drum and beats' music for LTJ Bukem and Freestylers. later, in 1997, he started working for many composers like Anne Dudley, Harry Gerson-Williams, Rupert Gregson Williams Rupert Gregson Williams is a Music Composer for mo >> Read More... , and Patrik Doyle as an assistant.
In the 2000s, he started composing as an independent artist for many films, like Cybermutt (2002), Animal (2005), Scorpion (2007), Triangle (2009), Huge (2010), Will Bill (2011), Grabbers (2012), Tommy's Honour (2016), etc.
He has also composed many title songs and Background music for Tv shows like Top Gear (2002 -2004), Sinbad (2012), Poirot (2009-2013), Wolfblood (2016), Home (2019), etc.
In 2008 the video game Zubo was released, which featured music composed by Henson. After which, he also composed music for Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Black Flag (2013) and Alien: Isolation (2014).
In 2007 he co-founded Spitfire Audio, a British music company with Paul Thomson.
Henson was nominated for the Ivor Novello Awards in 2007 for his work in the film Severance. He was also nominated for a BAFTA for music in the 2015 game Alien: Isolation.
