Marshall Bell

Marshall Bell is a well-known actor best known for his roles in Hollywood films and television series. He is popularly recognized for his roles in popular films like ‘ Total Recall Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ in 1990 as ‘George and Kuato,' ‘Starship Troopers’ in 1997 as ‘General Owen’, and ‘ The Rum Diary Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ in 2011 as ‘Donovan,' etc. He was born as Archibald Marshall Bell in the year 1942 on September 28th in the American city of Tulsa in Oklahoma. Bell spent his childhood in Tulsa and attended the St. Paul’s School in Concord in New Hampshire. 

After being expelled from the school, he moved to Colorado with his family and joined the Fountain Valley School located at Colorado Springs. From there onwards, Bell had developed an interest in acting and performed in several school plays. He said in an interview that, he was told that we weren't good enough an actor, which made him pursue a major in Sociology at the University of Colorado and later joined and served the Army for about three years. Afterwards, he worked as a consultant, training executives in the business field to be better speakers. 

In the year 1980, after being suggested by Fred Roos, an American Producer, he was offered a minor role in a film by Alan Parker, a British director, and producer. He made his debut in ‘Birdy’, a film by Alan Parker, as ‘Ronsky’ in 1984. He made his debut on television in the year 1987 in ‘The Oldest Rookie’ where he played the role of ‘Det. Gordon Lane’. Since then he has made several appearances in series and movies like, ‘A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge’ in 1985 where he played the role of ‘Coach Sneider’, ‘The Chase’ in 1994 as ‘Ari Josephson’, ‘Nancy Drew’ in 2007, and TV series like, ‘The X-Files’, ‘House’, etc. 

Marshall is married to Oscar-winning costume designer, Milena Canonero and they both live in California in West Hollywood.
