Born on 18 May 1958, Toyah Ann Willcox is a Hollywood musician, actress, and television presenter. Willcox was born in Kings Heath, Birmingham. Her father, Beric Willcox, ran an in joinery business and owned three factories. Her mother, Barbara Joy, inheritable Rollinson, was a professional dancer. He fell in love with her and got married in 1949. Barbara had to give up her career once giving birth to Nicola (born 1950) and Kim (born 1953), Willcox's elder sister and brother, severally. Willcox has mentioned that her unusual given name can be related to Toyah, Texas, or a Native Yankee word "Toyah," meaning "water," though she notes her parents deny her origin.
Willcox enjoyed a financially comfortable childhood, attending a private girls' college. In 2004 she performed part of the most influential 80s tour in the United Kingdom alongside Nick Heyward, Curiosity Killed the Cat, and Altered pictures. Â On 14 Apr 2012, Willcox launched the Changeling Resurrection, a pair of 02 tours at the Concorde 2 in urban center to celebrate the thirtieth day of her album The Changeling (1982).
