Having taken birth in Hong Kong and raised in Melbourne, Natalie Mendoza is an actress and a musician. She started her music career by forming a band (Jackson Mendoza) with her sibling Rebecca. They topped the charts and signed to Virgin Records; they then released two singles which reached in the top ten list of Australia. They split in 2000. Mendoza has although already been singing in many musicals like Cate and Musical, The Music of Lloyd Webber Concert Tour, Miss Saigon, and many others. In 2003, she began to get serious about her acting career and moved to London. She started to get training of Classical Theater from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Mendoza then was seen in many Classical and Modern Theater productions; “Vagina Monologues,” “The Importance of Being Earnest Macbeth,” “Romeo and Juliet” are a few of them.
In 2005, she signed for “The Descent” (Horror Drama) creating an unforgettable role of Juno. She got one of the lead roles and is still considered to be her best. Further in 2016, she went on doing the three seasons long series of “Hotel Babylon”. Her character was of an Australian immigrant. She guest starred in an episode of “Doctor Who” and “The Girl Who Never Was”. She signed the Stewart's Weapons of Mass Entertainment with Dave in 2008, and many of her projects were managed by him. Later Natalie moved to L.A. with the aim of directing, producing and writing films. She won her first best director award best film and best writer at the film festival in 2011. She even started working in an album with Glen Ballard for her film project.
