Alyson Rae Stoner's birth was on August 11, 1993, to LuAnne Hodges, a former worker at Owens-Illinois and Charlie Stoner. She was born in the 4th most populated city of Ohio, Toledo, where she went to Maumee Valley Country Day School. She got trained at the O'Connell's Dance Studio in ballet, tap dance, and jazz dance. Stoner was first seen as the co-host alongside Michael Alan Johnson in the Disney Channel Mike's Super Short Show first telecasted in December 2001.
She got the chance to appear on the silver screen in 2003, as Sarah Baker in the family comic feature Cheaper by the Dozen. She also appeared in the movies sequel Cheaper by the Dozen 2 in the year 2005. In the year 2005, Stoner acted in television sitcom aimed at teenagers including the character of Mack in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Allison "Ally" Parker in That's So Raven and Wendy in Drake & Josh.In the year 2006, she made a small appearance as Camille Gage in Step Up alongside Channing Tatum as his character's younger sister.
Stoner made a return to the Step Up franchises third movie, in Step Up 3D as Camille Gage in the year 2010.She gave her voice to character ‘Isabella’ and ‘Jenny’ in the Disney Channel animated show Phineas and Ferb. In the year 2015, Stoner featured in three movies. The first was Hoovey in which she acted as Jen Elliott, followed by The A-List as Lacey Parish.
Both the movies failed to make any significant impact. However, in the second half of the year, she portrayed the character of free-spirited Liv in the musical film Summer Forever. Alyson migrated to LA and trained under prominent choreographers such asFatima Robinson, Hi-Hat, and Wade Robson. She audition and was cast to dance in the videos "Work It" and "Gossip Folks". Because of such videos, Alyson was in demand amongst media outlets as Extra, Maury, Ellen: The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
