Julie White was born on 4th June, 1961, in San Diego city of California, USA.She is an American actress who is the daughter of Sue Jane Terry, a therapist, and, Edwin White, a dentist by profession. She was married to Carl Pandel.
The couple tied the knot in 1984, but couldn’t remain together and finally divorced each other in 1990. They are the parents of Alexandra Pandel, who is a theatre artist. She later married Christopher Conner in 2001, but eventually divorced him after seven years in 2008.
White is an alumnus of the South West Texas State University (which is now known as the Texas State University). She was doing her Major in English from the Fordham University, but couldn’t complete it because of her acting career, which began in the middle of her college education.
She started pursuing her dream of acting at the age of sixteen, when she started acting in local theatres. She was sixteen when she played a lead role in a musical play called The Baker’s Wife.Julie is known to be an exceptional stage actress, who started her acting in the resident theatres in USA. Her resident theatre acts include Largo Desolato (1990), at the Yale Repertory Theatre in New Haven; On the Verge of the Hunington Theatre Company (1985 to 1986); Marvin’s Room at the Seattle Theatre (1992), and other such plays.
The actor’s first off-Broadway play was in 1988 in a musical called the Lucky Stiff. Her other off-Broadway appearances include Just Say No in 1988, Early One Evening at the Rainbow Bar and Grille in 1989, and Theresa Rebeck in 1992.
Julie starred in many TV shows. She was a part of the HBO series, Six Feet Under Six Feet Under is an American comedy-drama televis >> Read More... , in which she played the role of Mitzi Dalton-Huntley. She appeared in the NBC show, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, playing Dr. Anne Morella. She has also been involved in other TV shows, including Desperate Housewives, The Little Dog Laughed, and ‘Cavemen’.
She has also lent her voice for the character of Wendy Murphy in the animated movie, Monsters vs. Aliens, in 2009.Her best known work was seen in the action film series of ‘Transformers’, in which she played Judy Witwicky, who was the mother of Sam Witwicky.
Julie has been nominated for the Drama Desk Award 2015 under the category Outstanding Featured Actress, and also for the Tony Awards of 2015 under Best Featured Actress in a Play category.She has received a Tony Award for the Best Lead Actress for a Play and an Obie Award for her performances.
