Jing Lusi

Jing Lusi was born to Chinese parents in Pudong, Shanghai on 16^th May 1985 and later they moved to England when she was about five years old. She is a Chinese-British Actor. Ata very little age of 10, she performed her first work on-stage that was at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton alongside Phillip Schofield. That was Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'. She completed her studies at the Peter Symonds College located in Winchester where she obtained A-grade and she graduated in law from University College, London. She is well versed in English and Mandarin.

Lusi’s one of the most famous roles was of the ill-fated doctor in Holby City, the BBC Series. Her character was Tara Lo. In the year 2009, she appeared in the award-winning and acclaimed film, Breathe alongside Ricci Harnett. The same year she played the lead role in KLU Studios, 'The Malay Chronicles: Bloodlines'. Her character was Princess Li Hua. To get in depth of the character, she learned Bahasa Melayu. She also appeared in English film, Jack Falls. She was also seen at the Pulitzer Prize nominated play 4000 Miles in which her role was widely acclaimed. In 2015, she performed at the Edinburgh Film Festival as a part of a comedy group. Also in February 2015, she was the host of the Chinese New Year in the Trafalgar Square. She hosted the event in front of more than half a lakh people. Also, she was a part of the BBC Documentary featuring the same.These days she is working on the sets of Stan Lee’s Lucky Man that airs on Sky 1 and she plays the character of Lily Anne Lau.
