Black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Gillian Barber, is a Canadian actress. She was born on 22nd February 1958 in Coventry, West Midlands, England, United Kingdom. She had pursued her primary schooling from Guidhall School of Music and Drama in London and her bachelor's degree from the University Of Victoria. The year 1985 proved to be lucky for her when she finally got a breakthrough from the TV movie ‘Brotherly Love.’ She proved herself in the film by the role of Ski Shop Clerk. Since then, she has never looked back and is continuously working in various TV movies such as ‘Diagnosis Murder: Diagnosis Of Murder,’ ‘Moment Of Truth: A Child Too Many,’ ‘The Man Who Wouldn’t Die,’ etc.
She has also worked for numerous TV series such as ‘Poltergeist: The Legacy,’ ‘Breaker High,’ ‘The Wonderful World Of Disney,’ etc. Having a passion for teaching and helping someone, she even taught at Capilano University, British Columbia, in 2007. Later on, she formed the Musical Theatre Program and choreographed various students. Due to her flawless performance in ‘The Vehicle,’ she was nominated for Best Performance by a Female in a Short Drama.
