Her dad, Rick Bynes, is a Catholic retired dentist while her mother Lynn, an office manager is Jewish. Bynes was conceived in Thousand Oaks, State of California.
She debuted on television when she was shortlisted to work on All That, an indigenous live comedy sketch show in the year 1994.Her talent in various roles got noticed throughout the life of this show until it came to end in the year 2000. In the year 1999, Amanda Due to her towering demand and fan following got a show of her own on similar lines named The Amanda Show telecasted on Nickelodeon. The show came to an end in the year 2002, as Amanda geared up to star on the big screen.
She portrayed the role of Kaylee in the American youth based comic movie Big Fat Liar in 2002.
