Alona Tal is an Israeli-American actress and a singer. She is also known for her role in the American Television drama series Supernatural. Tal was born on October 20th, 1983 in Herzliya, Israel. She is from a Catholic background. After completing her high school education, Tal served the Israel Defence Forces. After completing her duty for the Israel Defence Forces, she started working for the Israel Film Industry.

She began her career with a music video for Children in which she played the role of an evil witch. After that, she came to be recognized as an actor, and she was offered roles in many commercials and music videos. She worked in a commercial for laundry detergent. After some year, she got a lead role in the Israeli movie named Lihiyot Kochav. At the time of the shooting, Tal was offered roles in two different Television shows in the Israeli television industry. She appeared in a television series named Tzimerim.

The show was based on the life of a family that owns and runs a restaurant. The name of the other television series was HaPijamot, which meant The Pyjamas. The show was a sitcom based on the activities of a struggling band. She appeared in the first three season of the show and later she appeared as a guest star in the rest of the season. In 2005, Tal appeared in the movie named Taking 5, in which she played the role, Devon Thomson. It was her first movie in the lead role. The movie was about two high school girls who kidnap a pop –rock band. The movie did average business in the film industry, but Tal’s acting skills were appreciated in the movie.

She also appeared in a featured video of the movie Half Past Dead 2 in which she played the role of Ellie Burke. She also appeared in many other movies like Undocumented, Broken City, Night of the Living Dead: Origins 3D and much more. She even appeared on seven episodes of the television series Cane, where portrayed the role of Rebecca King Vega.
