Elizabeth Berkley

Elizabeth Berkley Lauren is an American actress, born on 28th July 1972 in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Her mother, Jere was a gift basket business owner and father, Fred Berkley, a lawyer. She was born with heterochromia, the condition of differently colored irises; her left eye is all green and right eye is half green and half brown. She completed her education at North Farmington High School in 1990. She married to famous actor Greg Lauren in Cabo San Lucas in November 2003, and they gave birth to their son, Sky Cole on July 20, 2012. She met Greg at a dance class. She is recognized for her role of Jessie Spano in the American sitcom TV series Saved by the Bell, which aired from 1989 to 1993 on NBC. The show became so popular among the audiences that the producer Peter Engel produced its two spin-off series; Saved by the Bell: The College Years and Saved by the Bell: The New Class (1993-2000). She set up a self-help program online for teen girls named Ask-Elizabeth. She often meets with young girls to discuss various issues and helps them with any problems that they are going through in their life. She even published a self-help book of the same name for teenage girls which drew from the workshops she conducted for the Ask-Elizabeth program. She is an activist for animal rights.

She wore a $ 600 form-fitting gown made of collard greens for the PETA-sponsored ‘Lettuce Be Lean’ campaign, which encouraged people to embrace vegetarianism. Elizabeth hosted Bravo’s reality series, Step It Up and Dance, a competition featuring the struggles of 10 passionate dancers who compete against each other to win a cash prize of $100,000. She participated as a contestant on the 17th season of Dancing with the Stars; wherein she partnered with Valentin Chmerkovskiy. On the 9th week of competition, they got eliminated from the show.
