Ty Burrell, whose full name is Tyler Gerald "Ty" Burrell, is a comedian, writer, and an actor from America. He was born to Gary Gerald Burrell, a therapist, and Sheri Rose, a teacher, in Grants Pass, Oregon, United States of America on August 22, 1967. Susanna Weeks, Ty's great-great-great-great-grandmother, was a Tennessee's slave who commenced homesteading in Oregon.
As time passed, people accepted George Washington Weeks, her son as a native white. He went to Hidden Valley High School, Southern Oregon University, Ashland, and Penn State University. While in school, he showed immense skills on the field as a football player.
Ty holds a degree in theatre arts. While studying in college, he works at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival as a bartender. Ty was the commencement speaker of Southern Oregon University. In the University of Oregon, Ty became a part of Sigma Chi Fraternity, and later at Penn State University, Ty became Keegan-Michael Key's member. In 1999, he acted at the Utah Shakespeare Festival.
Before becoming an actor, Ty had financial problems and would often live in a van to save the expenditure of spending on a home. He has a brother named Duncan.
Ty's first prominent role was in Evolution. In the same year, he bagged Black Hawk Down. After Black Hawk Down, offers began to pour in, and he did National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Down in the Valley, Lipshitz Saves the World, and much more.
Ty has lent his voice to the characters of Mr. Henry Gardner, Mister Peabody, Bailey, Parker, Big Jack, Mart-E, and Captain Marvel in Storks, Mr. Peabody & Sherman, Finding Dory, The Penguins of Madagascar, Doc McStuffins, Glenn Martin, DDS, and The Super Hero Squad Show respectively.
Ty has won Screen Actors Guild Award, Primetime Emmy Award, and numerous such prizes on several occasions and in various categories. He has also helped write Russell Dyball's directorial The Red Herring O' Happiness and Babble.
Ty has signed a contract with 20th Century Fox Television, under which he is liable to create comedy projects for them. In June 2016, ABC and ABC.com released a web series named Boondoggle, which takes inspiration from Ty's life. He endorses National Association of Realtors.
On August 18, 2000, he married Holly. The couple has adopted two daughters named Frances Burrell and Greta, in 2010 and 2012 respectively. Ty is an ardent supporter of St. Louis Rams, Oregon Ducks, New York Mets, and Portland Trail Blazers.
