Steven Ogg is an actor, born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Mostly known for playing Simon in The Walking Dead and Trevor Phillips in Grand Theft Auto V, Steven never wanted to be an actor and wanted to build a career in sports instead. But life had other plans for him, and an injury forced him off the field. He started off with his career by working in TV shows such as Third Watch and Law & Order apart from working for theatres on the side and voice acting.
He had his first breakthrough in 2013 when he was chosen as the motion capture and voice artist to portray Trevor Phillips in Grand Theft Auto V. Out of all the characters in the game, people have loved and accepted Trevor Phillips, much more than any of them. Ogg won the award for best overall acting in a game at the 3rd Annual New York Videogame Critics Circle Awards for Best Overall Acting in a Game. After that, he got the chance to play Trevor again in GTA VR, a YouTube short film. Besides his acting skills, Ogg has also been recognized as a proficient voice-over artist. A lot of characters in the Cartoon Network series ‘OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes’ use his voice.
