Scott Glenn is a renowned American actor who made his TV and film debut simultaneously in the same year. Theodore Scott Glenn was born on January 26, 1941, in Pittsburgh and was bed-ridden for one year due to severe illness. But he overcame his illness and joined a school and later took up studies seriously and had completed his honors in English Literature from a renowned college. He even did not give up interest in joining as a reporter for an Evening News publication but left the job in order to become an author.
Soon, he found becoming an author is quite tough for him and joined acting classes. After his marriage with Carol Schwartz in 1968, he converted himself to Judaism and joined the Actor's Studio and began his career in a professional manner in TV and theater. Scott Glenn has portrayed gangster Miller's life in a 1987 movie directed by Rod Hewitt which was titled as "Gangland: The Verne Miller Story", During the 1990s, he was at the peak of his career and appeared in many blockbuster movies such as 'The Hunt for Red October’ (1990) and ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ (1991) etc. Later, he received more challenging roles in movies like ‘Night of the Running Man’ (1995) and ‘Edie and Pen’ (1997).
In the year 1996, he played the role of Bradley in a British movie 'Carla's Song' and played the role of Washington Post Reporter in another critically acclaimed war movie ‘Courage Under Fire’ (1996) Currently, he is seen appearing in Marvel's Daredevil TV series which is shown on Netflix channel. He got married to Carol Schwartz in 1968.
