One of the familiar faces on the television, Kristoffer had made his debut on television in 2001. Kristoffer Jon Polaha was born in Reno, the USA on February 18th, 1977. He comes from a non-acting background as he has none of his parents in the Hollywood industry. However, it was his talent and acting skills got him this far in the showbiz.
Kristoffer’s road to success started with playing Dylan Blim in the TV series Angel in 2001. The show is about a vampire’s journey in Los Angeles and redemption. Kristoffer appeared as a regular cast in Backstrom, Made in Jersey, Ringer, Life Unexpected, Valentine, Miss Guided and North Shore. North Shore, which aired between 2004 and 2005, was the first show by Kristoffer (also known as Kris) to have appeared in 21 episodes. Earlier to this, Kris was seen as a guest star That’s Life, as Eric Hughes and Birds of Prey as Dark strike. Kris was also cast in the French-American movie called Petty Crimes which was released in both the languages in 2002.

Kris can be seen playing Kennedy in the movie. The following year Kris is seen in a side role in the short comedy movie called The Plight of Clownana. Kris is seen in over four episodes in the television series Tru Calling as Mark Evans. Only after these, Kris got his character Jason Matthews in North Shore. After acting in North Shore he was briefly present in an episode of the show House.
His stint of appearing in small character for an episode at the maximum continued. He appeared on shows like Hot Properties as Ron, in the famous show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia as just a male employee. Then in an episode of the crime drama CSI: Miami as Jeremy Fordham, in as Will Hastings in the medical comedy show Bones (both CSI and Bones in 2006). Later appeared in Close to Home as Alistair Joyce in 2007. Kris dons the role of a Craig in the short comedy called Life Happens in 2006, though not a significant role, Kris’ career was nonetheless blooming.
In 2008, Kris played Tim O’Malley in the famous show Miss Guided which lasted his role for seven episodes. This comedy series was soon shut down. The same year, Kris is working for the show Valentine as Danny Valentine. In this romantic television series, Kris was recognized for his handsome demeanour, and he lasted for eight episodes. Kris became a regular guest to appear on the highly acclaimed show Mad Men in 2008 through 2009 and made his presence felt in the periodic drama.
Although he plays all these several roles in the shows and short films, he never stopped judging his character length in the shows. He continued guest-starring in the shows like Romantically Challenged, which was not very popular, in Awkward as Ben and in CSI as Darryl Walsh. But his character in Life Unexpected as Nathaniel ‘Baze’ Bazile was a memorable one. He acted in the series for 26 episodes and the show was stopped for its declining popularity. The same happened with the show Ringer where Kris is can be traced in an important role of a Henry Butler. He is alongside Sarah Michelle Geller in this mystery drama for the whole season.
Kris can be spotted in the law firm drama show called Made in Jersey as Nolan Adams in 2012 which was showcased in 2012. In 2013, the Resse Whitherspoon starrer biopic mystery Devil’s Knot, Kris has a small role of Val Price in the movie. Apart from his one-episode roles, Kris got a movie called Where Hope Grows in 2014 as Calvin. The movie has Kris in a lead role, and Kris cherishes the memories of working in the film with Director Chris Dowling. The inspirational story of a Down Syndrome guy interacting with a Baseball Player is worth watching. Kris has also acted in a movie in the sequel Atlas Shrugged (Part 3) which is a sci-fi movie and has Kris in the title role of John Galt (Atlas Shrugged: Who is John Galt?).
Kris was also part of the one season of the show called Backstrom in 2015. The show is from the creators of Bones and Kris is seen playing Sgt. Peter Niedermayer in the cop show. In a short film called Frontman which released in 2016 has Kris in the prominent lead role playing a musician called Jodie King facing a medical problem. Kris was also part of four episodes in the crime drama Castle during the same year, as Caleb Brown. Kristoff’s latest developments in his acting career are Aberrant and Beneath The Leaves which are expected to release in 2016/17.
Kris is a happily married man with three children. He is married to the soap opera star Julianne Morris in2003, and his kids are Caleb, Micah, and Jude. Ardent Christian, Kris had some doubtful faith predicament with God, and he says it was during the film Where Hope Grows he experienced something he calls as a miracle when he just escaped from a fire burst while walking with a friend. He is known for his charming face and his attractive physique and his unique acting skills which have also earned him enough financial security in the Hollywood industry. He admits having enjoyed as a guest star in many shows as he says as a working actor one has to accept these roles. And he also loved having played main roles in many television series and movies.
