James Faulkner was born James Sebastian Faulkner on the 18th day of July in 1948. He is an English Actor known to play the supporting roles. He appeared in many films such as “Whispering Death”, “Murder on the Orient Express” etc. He went on to act and co-produce the movie “Zulu Dawn” n which he played the role of Lt. Teignmouth Melvill. He also made an appearance in the “Bridget Jones” movies as Uncle Geoffrey. In 1976, BBC made a television adaptation of “I, Claudius” and James played the role of Herod Agrippa.

He also portrayed the role of Aldous Huxley in “Priest of Love” movie in 1981. In 1988, he played the character of Stapleton, one of the biggest rivals of Sherlock Holmes in “The Hound of the Baskervilles” by Granada Television, opposite Jeremy Brett. In 1991, he played the role of Alex Mair, in a novel adaptation titled “Devices a Desires” by the author P.D. James. Anglia production is producing it. His character was the manager of the Larksoken nuclear power plant. He also portrayed the part of Agent Smith in the film “Hitman”. He also played the principal antagonist named “Baron Mullins” in an Anglo-American television show, Covington Cross. The show was short-lived. He also lends his voice for the character of Severus Snape in “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” video game version.

He also played the role of Lord Kenworth in a movie titled “Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London”. In 2008, James played a character of “Cardinal Rhades” in a German thriller movie called “Der Bibelcode (de)” which means “The Bible Code” in English. James received an opportunity to be a part of BBC’s historical fantasy drama worldwide series called “Da Vinci’s Demons” in 2013. James played the role of Pope Sixtus IV- Francesco & Alessandro della Rovere till 2015. He also played “Lord Daniel Sinderby” in the Edwardian costume drama named “Downtown Abbey”. It was one of the most acclaimed costume dramas which ITV produced in the year of 2014.
