Jack Falahee was born on February 20th 1989 and spent his childhood in the small town of Ann Arbor, Michigan.Being born to a speech pathologist mother and doctor father, he had everything he needed to pursue a career in the mainstream profession line,or any such pedagogically-heavy occupations. However, Jack’s destiny lay somewhere else. This ravishing young man showed early signs of being a natural at acting. Jack wasn’t interested in such mundane professions, as he stated in an interview once.

The thing that ignites the fire in him are the performing arts like drama, theatre, acting and other forms of stage performances. His first acting classes came whilst he was attending Huron High. He later went to the prestigious New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Here he studied acting extensively and in rigorously and even got a chance to perform in a number of famous productions such as Sondheim's Company, Love's Labour's Lost, and the evergreen A Midsummer Night's Dream. He later graduated from here in 2011, with a BFA in drama. He later got his first screen job soon after graduation. In 2012, he got cast as a guest star in Submissions Only- an online comedy series. He joined the International Theater Workshop in Amsterdam to study acting there. Here he thrived in this new environment. Jack had all the making of being a big start. He had the looks, the charisma, and the talent, not to mention his hard-working nature. However, till now Jack hadn’t quite achieved fame with the mainstream population yet. That break came in 2013, when he made his television debut guest-starring in the teen comedy-drama show The Carrie Diaries. He would gain a lot of attention in this show, which led to an audition chance and subsequent selection in the NBC series Iron side. However, to Falahee’s dismay, that show was short-lived and didn’t really take off as he would have expected.

Never one to be deterred by failure, Jack stayed resolute with his passion for acting. His unbreakable spirit and refusal to let his dream go paid off, as he would later land several roles in a number of independent films, such as the likes of Blood and Circumstance, Hunter and Slider. His biggest break came later on in 2014, when he starred next to one of the industry’s grandest workers- Nicolas Cage “You know I can eat peaches for hours…” This is on >> Read More... in their film Rage. Then came the role he’d been waiting for. On February 12, 2014, Jack Falahee was cast for How to Get Away with Murder. This was all thanks to his enchanting and enthralling portrayal of the character Connor Walsh.

Jack had seized his opportunity and made the most of it.He has since become a series regular and one of the main characters of the show. The show focusses on a small group of ambitious striving law students (of which Jack is a part of) and their ruthless and ingenious criminal defence professor, and their attempt to escape murder convictions. The show reported that a staggering 21 million people watched their premiere, instantly propelling Jack to new heights of fame and fortune, making him a celebrity overnight.
