Blake Jenner

The Glee Project fame Blake Alexander Jenner is an American actor and singer. Born on 27 August 1992 in Miami, Florida, U.S,Jenner attended Felix Varela High School.Youngest among four siblings Mike, Derrick and Richard, Jenner was into music, acting and writing. His fondness for music and acting grew when he was 9 and joined the school’s drama troupe.He performed in various play through middle and high school and even appeared in television commercials.

He took improvisation lessons and participated in stage productions at the Roxy Performing Arts Center. He was also a member of “Impromedy” a sketch comedy improve group in Miami. To pursue his passion for acting, he moved to Los Angeles after graduating and did odd jobs like parrot salesman, waiter, clothing store associate while auditioning for acting roles. Jenner’s career started with 2011 short film Wurlitzer. He made a guest appearance as Miller Collins in Melissa & Joey. Jenner was in a relationship with his high schoolmate Maria Correa, who moved with him to Los Angeles, they dated for 3 years.

After that he did The Truth In Being Right, Cousin Sarah, Love At First Sight, Everybody Wants Some!!, The Edge The Edge is an informational tv show aired on the >> Read More... of Seventeen, Within, Sidney Hall, and Billy Boy. In 2012 he was selected to audition for the 2nd season of The Glee Project along with 14 other contestants. It is an American reality television series from Oxygen in which he was among the top 3 finalists and eventually he won. He also did the fourth season of Glee as Ryder Lynn. He married his Glee costar Melissa Benoist.

Later the couple did Super girl where Melissa played the role of female protagonist and Jenner was cast as Adam Foster. After that differences erupted and finally they filed a divorce petition in 2016. In 2013 Blake wrote the screenplay for Billy Boy.He himself produced and acted in the film. Blake was nominated for Teen Choice Award for the category Choice TV Breakout Star and ultimately he won.
