Mikayla Jane

Mikayla Jane Nogueira is an American content creator. Mikayla was born in East Freetown, Massachusetts, United States to Patrice, who is an artist and an elementary school counselor, and Michael Nogueira. She completed her schooling at Apponequet Regional High School. She was a member of DECA in high school where she used to compete in business competitions, relating to the beauty industry. Before she started her career as a content creator, Mikayla attended Bryant University. She obtained a degree in Communication with a focus in Marketing, Media, and Cultural Studies. In college, Nogueira worked as an intern for a radio station. Before posting on her TikTok account in 2020, Mikayla had been posting beauty content on Tumblr and YouTube as early as 2013.

During the pandemic, Mikayla took a chance on TikTok and gained fame. She became famous for trying and reviewing makeup products on the platform, and her reviews would often help those products to go viral and become immensely popular. She used to share tutorials and makeup hacks, and in August 2022, she coined "the sticky method" — a technique of using primer and concealer to cover acne — which became a viral technique on TikTok as many of users tested it on the app and posted their videos. In September, Nogueira had the chance to work with Gomez to promote the singer's brand, Rare Beauty, in a TikTok video the two co-starred.
