Aimee Macabeo

Aimee Macabeo, whose full name is Aimee Montemayor Macabeo, is a stylist who specializes in hair, makeup as well as creature effects. She did a degree with a major in fashion. She took up a full-time job in a hospital while doing a part-time makeup school to satisfy her creative instincts. She later pursued a career in Makeup FX and attended a cosmetology school which helped perfect her skills in hair which is now her specialty. She is a master at the art of creating a balance between subtlety, realism along with him over the top requirements of her client projects. She was born on 5th January 1974 in Los Angeles located in California in the United States of America.

She is currently an artist working at Legacy Effects Offical, a master hair stylist at the Paul Mccarthy Studios. She used to work at Stan Winston Studio. Aimee studies Fine Arts at the Art Senter College of Design and Toy Design at the Otis College of Art and Design. She studies\d about makeup and special makeup effects at the Joe Blasco Makeup Center West and is also certified in being a Kundalini Yoga Instructor. She was a part of movies like Rings, an English language film which released in 2017, Enthiran, a Tamil production which hit theatres in 2010. Right after completing her schooling, she assisted a friend from her high school in a film called Stir. After that, her next project was called Heaven or Vegas.

She had a couple of mentors including classmates who introduced her to different aspects of styling. She considers the time needed and the nature of the project to decide what techniques to use, as each of her works involves a customized approach to the requirements of a particular project or client. She keeps in mind the character and their different characteristics before finalizing what the look should be. For her, a collaborative effort is very essential, and she makes sure to be on the same page with the director of the movie. Her choices are also swayed by the budget and cost of production which helps her narrow down on how complex the techniques used should be. She also did the hair as well as the makeup for a television series called American Horror Story.
