The trio of Ron, Mike and Hanley together won the Oscar award for their movie Apollo 13 (1995) and were also nominated for varoius projects on three different occasions. At the Las Vegas Film Critics Awards in 2008, they won the Sierra award after winning the Editors of the year award at the Hollywood Film Festival in the same year.
