Junior Simpson

Junior Simpson is a British stand-up comedian. He belongs to the Jamaican descent.

Junior was born in Luton, Bedfordshire in England. He completed his education at Beechwood Primary School and later went to Challney High School for Boys.

Due to his infectious energy and stage presence, Junior grabs the headlines at almost all major clubs across the UK. Also, he performs in other parts of the world like Australia and South Africa on a regular basis. Junior also contributes regularly to The Cutting Edge Team at the Comedy Store. He has performed comedy at festivals across the globe namely, ‘Leeds Comedy in The Park’, ‘Reading Festival’, ‘Liverpool Comedy Festival’, etc. He also has got the opportunity to perform for various radio stations including the UK and around the world in shows like ‘London Live’, ‘ The Edge The Edge is an informational tv show aired on the >> Read More... ’, ‘The Beaton Generation R4’etc.

Junior has also performed in some movies like in the role of  “Dildar Singh” for the 2007 movie ‘ Don Click to look into! >> Read More... ’t Stop Dreaming’, directed by Azjad Nazir and ‘High Heels Low Lives’ as “Mickey” released in the year 2003. He is also involved in comedy writing like ‘As the Chicken Jerks’ for stage sitcom and Independent Black women. Also, he has been the warm-up artist for numerous shows like ‘The Sketch Show’, ‘Hippies’ and ‘Dead Ringers’. He is represented by the comedy management company called Glorious Management and happens to be the top comedian for it.
