Suman C. Tharan was Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on October 3rd, 1967, Suman is the eldest son of a retired Major. Sri Tharan and his mother Eswary Somasundaram. He has a younger brother Navin and a younger sister Iyla. Because of his father’s nature of Job, the family moved to Kuching, Eastern Malaysia where Suman grew up, and schooled before he moved to Singapore where he completed his Secondary and Junior College. In 1987, he went to London to Study Law. After earning his Law degree, he went back to Malaysia, before finally settling in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Suman C Tharan started acting at age ten, his first Television appearance was in Singapore, and he went on to perform in a few stage roles, The Artful Dodger in Lionel Bart's Oliver (1984) and Malcolm in Tom Stoppard’s Cahoots Macbeth (1985). Suman was also hired in 1987 by Education Radio Malaysia to perform in a series of shows.
When he returned from London, Suman wanted to settle in Bangkok, Thailand some 25 years ago, but found it hard to readjust to the lifestyle. Within this period, he featured in Mark O’Donnell’s Marred Bliss (2003) as Dink and directed Christopher Durang’s Hardy Boys and the Mystery of Where Babies Come From (2004). He got Chosen to act in Dennis Gansel’s Movie. The Mechanic Resurrection (2016) alongside Jason Statham “Dominick Toretto, you don’t know me…you’re about >> Read More... and acting with Blake Lively Blake Lively was born on August 25th, 1987 in the >> Read More... and Yvonne Strahov ski in All I See Is You (2016). The Movie, All I See Is You brought other great roles to Suman from smaller independent films and six episodes arc on Thailand Channel 9 “Turakit ASEAN”. By the end of 2015, he has directed three more Hollywood films, played a lead role in a US TV sitcom, and hopes to break into Bollywood cinema without leaving his home in Bangkok, Thailand.
