Miguel Angel Silvestre

Miguel Angel Silvestre was born on 6th April 1982 in Castello De La Pena, Valencia, Spain. Miguel is an extremely talented Spanish actor who works in the Spanish film and Hollywood TV industry. He is a huge celebrity in Spain and a big media personality. Miguel did not set out to become an actor, during his childhood, he was a big fan of Carlos Moya and hence wanted to become a professional tennis player. But during an Hungarian tournament, Miguel suffered some injuries which resulted in him giving up his tennis dreams.

It was one of his aunts, who pushed him towards acting and drama, she inspired him to study drama, physical theatre and modern dance from a prestigious drama school. In 2002, Miguel won the pageant of Mister Costello which brought a lot of good publicity on Miguel. In 2005, he made his acting debut on the TV series Motivos Personales, a mystery thriller mini-series and hence began Miguel’s stellar career. All along his career, he starred in some of the most successful Spanish movies like I’m So Excited, Verbo, Zhao, Reflections, Dark Impulse, Winning Streak, All Is Excited and many others.

One of Miguel’s most famous roles came in 2017, when he appeared in the 3rd season of one of Netflix’s biggest ever original TV series known as Narcos. Miguel portrayed the character of Franklin Jurado. Miguel also recently starred in Sense8, another sensational Netflix series. He has led himself to have an amazing acting career and also in the pop industry where he has garnered a lot of praise and awards for his amazing talents.
