Soukarya Ghoshal is an Indian film Director, Lyricist, Screenwriter, Cartoonist, and Animator who works primarily in the Bengali film industry. He was born on 7th June 1986. His best-known works are Pendulum, Loadshedding, Rawkto Rawhoshyo, etc.

Ghoshal started his career in the field of art by as working the staff cartoonist for Robbar, the periodical of Sangbad Pratidin, a Bengali daily. Ghoshal's third movie Rainbow Jelly depicts the story of an autistic orphan child who could control the human mind by cooking food with several flavours. The film revolves around the changes in the antagonist's mind as he tastes different flavours life sweet, bitter, sour, spicy, etc. The film received the Hiralal Sen Award for Best Bengali Film of The Year 2018 from the Federation of Film Societies of India. The movie also earned Ghosal the Most Promising Director Award from West Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards. About his personal life, Ghoshal was born and brought up in Kolkata. He completed his schooling at A. K. Ghosh Memorial High School and Jodhpur Park Boys School. He holds a Baccalaureate Degree in History from Ashutosh College and a Post Graduate degree in Media Studies from the University of Calcutta. He is married to Pooja Chatterjee who is a renowned fashion designer in the Bengali film industry.
