Kunal Banerjee, also known as Trijit Banerjee, is an Indian actor from Kolkata, West Bengal, who works predominantly in the Bengali Television industry. He is a famous actor in the tele soap industry. He was born on the 30th of October in Bankura, West Bengal, India. His father is Kripasankar Banerjee, and his mother is Mridula Banerjee. Kunal completed his schooling at Bankura Mission Boys School in West Bengal and his graduation in Hotel Management at DSMS Durgapur. Before joining the entertainment industry, he was a Hotel Management student and later worked as a Relationship Manager in Kolkata. Kunal resigned and left his job to pursue a career in acting.

He used to wander around studios with his portfolios, but he never gave up. He also joined a BPO to support himself financially but couldn’t continue it. One day, he met casting director Raja Banerjee and started working with him as a junior artist in various serials. He got his first character role in the serial “Bhalobasha.com”, and he never looked back. He rose to popularity for his versatile roles and became a famous star in the Bengali daily soaps.
