Nagavalli is a mythology oriented thriller series based on the life events of Lord Siva and Parvathi. Nagavalli is the snake reincarnation of Parvathi on the Earth to rectify the problems that arose due to her playful blinding of Lord Siva for a moment. Rakthapeejan is a demon who was killed by the Gods and one drop of his blood gets trapped under a rock. He awakens from his dead by the footstep of Badhmasuran, a very powerful demon, and thus befriends him. Badhmasuran falls in love with Nagavalli who lives in the forest and Rakthabeejan helps Badhmasuran to get her somehow. As the evil actions of the demons escalate and terrorize the people, the holy men seek the help of Lord Siva who promises to destroy the demons and get back Nagavalli. With this background, the plot thickens as nobody returns alive from a mysterious pond and the unoccupied house in the apartment which is connected to the mysterious disappearances. This supernatural suspense thriller was telecasted in Sun TV, every Sundays at 9.30PM in 2008. It was directed by P.S.Dharan and produced by UTV. Actress Nandhidha played the lead role of Nagavalli and Actor Ponnambalam made his debut as a serial actor in this series. He played the character of Rakthabeejan which was a piece of cake for this silver screen villain.The cast crew includes Actress Vinodhini, Kalidoss, Monolisa, Nithya, Vijayaganesh and many others. Vidathu Karuppu scriptwriter K.S.Sedhuraman has continued his good work in this series also. It was one of the popular spiritual dramas watched by families in South India.
