Nadaniyaan is a comedy serial that featured the lives of Chandu, Nandu, and Pappu. Apart from their lives, the serial also featured funny situations we find ourselves in our daily lives that make the viewers connect to it. Chandu is the sole earner of the house.
She is married to Naman Verma (Nandu), who is an aspiring television writer who is waiting for his big break. He is a stay-at-home husband who spends his day being lazy. Pappu is the youngest house member who is in his twenties. He also doesn’t have any job but wears fake designer clothes to impress women. His favourite pastime is flirting with women and showing off his wealth. They all live together with Nandu and Pappu’s mother, Taravanti. The main aspect of comedy comes from Chandu scolding and mocking Nandu and Pappu for not contributing anything to the house and living off her hard work. Taravanti also mocks them for that, but they don’t pay heed to either of them.
Another comedic aspect comes from the photo of Nandu and Pappu’s deceased father hanging on the wall. Pappu refers to the photo whenever he gets into trouble or wants something from Nandu by emotionally blackmailing him. Certain flashback clips are also featured where Babuji makes jokes. The neighbour, Bhagwan uncle, likes to walk in Nandu’s front yard and flirt with women way younger than him. All these people often play pranks on each other and give extra entertainment to the viewers.
