Kushal Punjabi, who has worked in many films, and TV series acted in this serial with high hopes as the concept was unique, but was disappointed by the result. The show started at that time when many other Sci- fi serials were going on, like Antriksh, Karma, and Bongo, where Antriksh and Karma were was a hit serial, but Bongo was a failure. King Aasman Ka Ek Raja and, Karma both were produced by Balaji Telefilms.
The target audience for the show were children, but unfortunately, the show could not gather much TRP because of which it was shut down soon.
